In this video, I want to explore the next

page builder, that we have, which is
Elementor. Elementor is super popular.

It has a really nice user interface,
its drag and drop as well,

similar to Beaver Builder,
and it has a lot of flexibility with it.

So let's go in.

I have installed it already.

You can go in and click on Activate.

And here we have a little getting
started video that we can go ahead and

add to the content as well,
but let's go in and create a first page.

Alright, so if you watched
the Beaver Builder demo, this is similar.

We have the elements on the left
instead of the right, and we also have
[00:01:21.320]
rows, where we can add
the elements to begin with here.

So there's two ways to add elements.

You can either click on the plus
[00:01:32.400]
and then you're going
to choose your column layouts

similar to Beaver Builder.

And then from there,

you can click on the plus again and you'll
get all of the different options that

you might want for this,
and you click and drag.

And they will add the image there,
instead of having a pop up dialog box

that has all of the options,
we have on the left

this changes into options
for that element.

So if we click on,

I clicked on the little shoes image,and we have
our images again going and insert.

Here we have and style,

we have some options for the width, the max width,
with the opacity

border option and then the border radius
out with Beaver Builder.

This is a way to kind of add
a little bit of a circle,

without fully creating the circle.

You also have

here, options for the caption
and to link an alignment.

In Beaver Builder, something to kind of

have in mind some of the differences here
is we have quick ways to kind of resize

the images to a circle, to a square,
to panorama and different options. Here

we don't have those
options readily available.

You kind of tweak as you go
and add some CSS as well.

If you want something specific,

there is kind of a with and you
play with the height.

There are some CSS filters.

These are things like brightness
and contrast, saturation and hue.

The so that's something that's new,

that doesn't exist in Beaver Builder,
so there's different options,

depending on Beaver Builder or Elementor
or the page folder that you're using,

One nice thing about the free version

of Elementor, again,
this is a completely free plug in,

there is a pro version,
but the free version, I believe, has more

the Beaver Builder free version.

They really push you to get the pro
version for Beaver Builder,

whereas the Elementor version has a lot
to give you in their free version.

So the other thing that we have
is you can add a template.

And there are templates
are available for free.

That you can add in,

so this is similar to what I was talking
about in Beaver Builder,

but you have some that are free,
you have some that are pro

and the pro ones, you do have to purchase
their pro plugin,

but there are several that are free
that you can just go in and add.

can edit the text straight in the box.

I'm quickly kind of changing my mind about

Beaver Builder, I think they're
both really, really good builders.

but it's more that I'm
just more used to it.

Elementor has really impressed me with
the times I've used on client sites

and in demos and so forth,
and I think it has a lot to offer.

draft and save as a template.
